Level
We always mean your hero levels when we say what level you are. Player level is only relevant in relation to the Field of Stars and VIP Level.
Resonating Crystal - RC
RC refers to your Resonating Crystal. Your RC level is the level of heroes inside the crystal slots, in this case 310. Your RC cap is the max level your resonating crystal can hit, in this case 365. This increases by 5 for every Ascended hero you have. If you’re below level 240, your RC level will be your 5th highest leveled hero, in the case below, level 131. Once you hit RC 240, every hero is leveled through the crystal.
Fodder, L-tier, Legendary Tier Heroes
Any of the heroes you see above. Note that they only have 3 skills. They are called fodder because they are used as food and are fed/consumed by other heroes to increase their ascension tier.
A-tier, Ascended Tier Heroes (1A, 5A, etc.)
These are heroes with 4 skills. Generally speaking, you do not use them as fodder and feed them to other heroes. These are the ones that you put your fodder into. The game unlocks things for you as you have more heroes at Ascended tier. XA refers to how many you have, ex: 5A means you have 5 heroes at Ascended.
4 Faction Heroes - 4f
Heroes you are generally going to pull in the tavern. The factions are Lightbearers (LB), Maulers, Wilders, and Graveborn (GB).
Celestials, Hypogeans, Dimensionals -CHaD, Celepodims, Celepogeans
Heroes you’ll have to specifically try to obtain slowly. Celestials and Hypogeans mainly come from the stargazer, and Dimensionals are obtained from the permanent Garrisoned Mercenary system and the Dimensional Exchange system when a new one is announced. Also wow look a lot of nicknames :D
Hero Choice Pack - HCP
Another banner to summon from in the Tavern that unlocks when you have your first Ascended hero. You get additional “Chances to get” as you get more Ascended heroes. They reset every 30 days, and each elite you pull guarantees that you get whichever Desired Hero you chose. Note you can only choose 4f heroes. The pity timer is 30 pulls as usual.
King’s Tower - KT
It’s the King’s Tower. Push it to get some soulstones, diamonds, dust and gold.
Faction Towers - FT, 4f towers, Towers of Esperia
Unlocked at Chapter 15, these are towers within the King’s Tower that have stages you beat with heroes from an individual faction.
Twisted Realm - TR
Unlocked at Chapter 13, fight a rotating boss every 48 hours to compete in a bracket against other players around your RC level for rewards.
Signature Items - SI, +XX
Unlocked when a hero reaches Mythic (M), you can use emblems to upgrade their Signature Item, granting them stats and new abilities. We say a hero is +XX when their SI is upgraded to that amount, ex: +30 is SI 30.
Furniture - Furn, Xf, 3/9, 9/9
When you reach Chapter 18 and have at least 1 Ascended hero, you unlock the Oak Inn. You can spend POE coins here to pull for furniture. Mythic furniture, shown by the red diamonds grants a hero special effects when they have 3 and 9 pieces, hence when we say a hero has 3f or 9f, their effects for those furniture amounts are activated. When we say a hero is XXY, that means the SI & Furn amount. Ex: 309 means +30 SI, 9f.
Abyssal Expedition - AE, Abex
When you reach Chapter 16, you unlock this mode. It is a seasonal mode where you play with guildmates and random people to make a 70 member party. You can play it casually where it’s relatively inconsistent to get max rewards, or in Honorable mode, which has a 3000 diamond entry fee. Yes, the Honorable entry fee is worth it, you profit 3000 diamonds for hitting the max rank, and all the players are determined to do so, making it consistent. You need 10 heroes at Legendary ascension tier in order to get max rewards, but if you have that, you’re good to go!
Hunting Fields - HF, Mini AE/Abex
When you reach Chapter 20, you unlock this 5 person event. You can queue up with random people or make a preset group and register with your friends. There is also a “support” mode, where you basically spectate someone’s HF party and you get 80% of the rewards that the group actually playing got, pretty good for zero time investment. It’s basically AE but with only 5 people, and each member can only use heroes from one faction.
Legends’ Challenger Tournament - LCT
After beating Chapter 9-20, you unlock LCT. This is a PvP arena where you fight other players in your server in a best of 3 format. You set up 3 attacking and defense teams and aim to win 2 fights. The higher ranked you are, the
more Gladiator Coins you get, which you can exchange for heroes.
Legends’ Champtionchip - LC
When you reach Chapter 6, you can start betting here. This is a PvP arena where the top players in each LCT season fight it off in whale versus whale best of 3+ combat. Your job is to pick one of two players that are presented to you that you think will win and ideally profit gold. If you don’t know who to vote for, just vote for whoever has higher Elder Tree levels, SIs, furn, and fancier heroes, or whatever the crowd voted for.
