Heroes can be either Strength, Agility, or Intelligence based. Each category wears a different type of armor. Strength heroes focus on mitigating damage with their higher health pools, and percentage damage reduction. Agility based heroes generally damage in quicker bursts and rely on their high dodge to survive. Intelligence heroes are often the ones that apply crowd control effects on enemies and deal magic damage, which cannot be dodged.

There are 5 classes that a hero can have, those being Support, Mage, Warrior, Tank, and Ranger. Support heroes focus on supporting your team with buffs and heals, or debuffing the enemy team. Mage heroes do some crowd control and specialize in doing magic damage to enemies. Tank heroes deal varying amounts of damage, with some being better than others, but are able to survive more hits than other heroes due to their gear and damage reducing abilities. Most Rangers are Agility based, making them rather good at surviving with good gear, and primarily focus on dealing physical damage. Warrior heroes generally do more damage the longer fights go on, and often have lifesteal mechanics, however most of the heroes in this class are generally underpowered, as they don’t have the survivability of tanks, or the damage of Mages and Rangers.

A normal team composition is composed of a combination of these classes. Generally a team is built around a carry, or a main damage dealing unit. Then, that unit is paired together with one or two supports and tanks, or sometimes with a secondary damage dealing hero. Below is an example of such a team.


In this team, our carry unit is Daimon. Although he is categorized as a Tank, he does immense amounts of damage, making him our primary damage dealer. He is protected by Brutus, a tank in front of him. Rowan in the middle supports the team with energy and healing potions. Tasi is another support that can disable enemies with her banishment and her ultimate. Lyca is a secondary damage dealer, who increases damage dealt to enemies by decreasing their defense, and also increasing the haste of allies at the start of the fight.
