Dura’s ArtifactsSustenance ArtifactsSorcery ArtifactsWarrior ArtifactsFortitude ArtifactsCelerity Artifacts

There are many artifacts in the game, and each is suited for different heroes. At first you unlock Dura’s artifacts that can be used on any hero. Later you unlock class specific artifacts that can only be used on the heroes of the class that the artifact belongs to.

Dura’s Artifacts

  • Dura’s Grace

It’s the first artifact you get. Dura’s Grace gives dodge and HP and it helps with survival for whoever needs it early on, but is not really used later in the game because there are artifacts with better survival stats. It’s generally fine for supports or tanks that you want to live longer.

Example Heroes:

Rowan, Rosaline.

  • Dura’s Eye

The second best Dura’s artifact. Eye gives crit chance and physical resistance. It also increases the haste of heroes when the crit, and later on increases crit damage. It’s abilities are amazing on heroes with high crit such as mages speeding them up and increasing their damage.

Example Heroes:

Mirael, Fereal, Raku, Oden

  • Dura’s Call

The strongest Dura’s artifact, and arguably the strongest artifact in general. Dura’s Call provides both energy and haste, the best stat in the game. Any hero who needs their ultimate ability above all else uses this artifact (with the exception of mages that use windbinder). The haste on this artifact can also help heroes use their abilities faster which can mean the difference between winning or losing.

Example Heroes:

Daimon, Tasi, Rowan, Kren, Eironn, Thoran, Twins

  • Dura’s Drape

Drape has defense and health recovery rate. Unfortunately defense is not that significant a stat and there are other artifacts with better defensive stats, so drape is used almost exclusively during early game when you first unlock it. Health recovery is better than defense but still underwhelming for an artifact. Use it on tanks until you unlock better artifacts. Talene will resurrect herself faster with it.

Example Heroes:

Hendrick, Brutus, Skreg, Talene

  • Dura’s Blade

As the name would suggest, blade gives attack rating and accuracy. Blade gives a base amount of attack rating and then increases attack rating over time. Late game this artifact struggles to find use because other special effects are often stronger than pure damage, but early game this can be used on your carry hero if they don’t need Eye or Call. Accuracy can be helpful at times when the enemy dodges a lot, but is more of a secondary effect.

Example Heroes:

Saveas, Mirael, Saurus, Athalia, Talene

  • Dura’s Chalice

Chalice has defensive stats in HP and defense as well as regenerating the user's HP. It’s quite similar to drape with better defensive stats. This is the artifacts tanks use until you unlock class artifacts.

Example Heroes:
Hendrick, Thoran, Brutus, Skreg

  • Dura’s Conviction

One of the useless artifacts. Conviction is not used on any hero. It’s supposed to buff heroes that are far away from enemies but in practice doesn’t really work.

Example Heroes:

None

Sustenance Artifacts

  • Tidebearer

Gives a shield equal to 30% of the heroes max health. If the shield remains after 15 second they get energy, but that doesn’t happen often so this artifact is mainly used for the shield.

Example Heroes:

Ezizh

  • Seraphic Tide

This artifact heals allies and increases their haste and decreases the haste of enemies. It’s pretty much a secondary artifact for any support hero; if they don’t need another artifact they use this one.

Example Heroes:
Mortas, Rowan, Nemora, Talene

Sorcery Artifacts

  • Windbinder

Gives 300 energy at the start of the battle. This is an amazing effect and allowes mage heroes to get to their first ultimate incredibly fast at the cost of losing energy during their second ultimate. This artifact allows mages to ult faster than heroes using Dura’s call and most mages that want to rush their ultimate use it.

Example Heroes:
Mehira, Oden, Pippa, Ainz

  • Warden of the Arcane

This artifact provides haste and extra damage for mages. It’s a great secondary for mages that want to avoid the debuff from using multiple Dura’s Calls in one team.

Example Heroes:
Ainz, Skriath, Oden, Safiya

  • Winged Warden

Causes the user to steal energy and health from anyone that attacks them. A rather niche effect, but useful for any mages that can survive being hit.

Example Heroes:

Satrana, Ainz, Zaphrael

Warrior Artifacts

  • Chaos Bringer

This artifact gives permanent haste after a warrior uses their ultimate the first two times they use their ultimate ability. This is good for any warrior that likes drawn out battles. Chaos Bringer also has a good amount of attack.

Example Heroes:

Saurus, Alna, Zolrath, Izold

  • Carnage

The opposite of Chaos Bringer, gives haste and life leech when the hero goes below 50% HP. Useful for heroes that work in shorter battles or that lose and regenerate health a lot.

Example Heroes:

Estrilda, Izold, Alna

  • Pauldron of Burning Fury

This artifact deals damage based on the missing health of the user. It doesn’t sound bad, but it scales horribly to deficits in campaign and as a result is rarely used.

Example Heroes:
None

Fortitude Artifacts

  • Barricade

One of the best artifacts in the game. Your tank hero will let your highest Combat Rating survive an otherwise lethal hit by sacrificing some of their health and giving them a shield. It can even trigger multiple times in a fight. Basically for any staple tank that protects your team.

Example Heroes:

Arthur, Albedo, Hendrick, Brutus, Gorvo

  • Waistband of Resilience

A very good artifact that makes your tanks more durable. It gives the hero a shield when they inflict a control effect on an enemy. Really good to make a tank sticky on the battlefield.

Example Heroes:

Grezhul, Skreg, Gorvo, Arthur

  • Life’s Limit

An interesting artifact, and it would make sense on a tank. When the hero takes damage, they retaliate with some damage back and debuff the enemies’ haste in a small area. The real issue is that even your tankiest heroes generally are squishy in campaign. It can be used in some niche citations on particularly tanky heroes.

Example Heroes:

Orthros, Mezoth, Arthur, Brutus

Celerity Artifacts

  • Shroud of Verdure

One of the best artifacts in the game for celerity heroes, giving them the survival they need to get started at the beginning of fights with a beefy shield and an attack boost.

Example Heroes:

Eironn, Ferael, Raku, Lucretia, Lyca, Tidus, Joker, Ezio

  • Verdant Longbow

If your hero doesn’t need more survivability, this artifact gives you the damage increase you need, with a good base attack buff and lets you inflict true damage when you hit multiple times.

Example Heroes:

Raku, Lucretia, Lyca, Ezio
