Furniture is unlocked at the Oak Inn when you have one Ascended hero and are at chapter 18. It has a wishlist system similar to the Tavern, but with only ten slots. Heroes get their own room in the Inn once they are Ascended. Each hero’s room can have 3 pieces of small, medium, and large furniture, for a total of 9 furniture. When you pull furniture using POE coins, it can be furniture of any size, but only three of each size can be placed in each hero’s room. Heroes get a special effect when they have 3 mythic furniture, and one when all 9 of their furniture are mythic. We call these 3f and 9f effects respectively.

Mythic furniture has a 30 pull pity timer just like the Tavern, or what is essentially a 9000 POE coin cost per mythic furniture. You can end up with more than 3 furniture in a category, which category you get is completely random and you can end up with more than the 3 useful per category. A 4th and beyond furniture of a category only provides a minimal stat gain and is thus essentially a waste. To prevent this, you gain a Mythic Furniture Choice Card every 90 pulls, which lets you select a hero to get a piece of furniture for. This choice pick will always be for a category that you have pulled less than 3 for, meaning you are safe from duplicates. Thus, the proper use for choice cards is when 1-2 categories of furniture are full for a hero. You should never use cards for a hero which only has a good 3f that you will never take to 9 because you have no risk of getting duplicates, even if all 3 are the same category, you’ll still get the 3f effect.

Below is an example starting wishlist that contains heroes you are close to having and that are worth prioritizing furniture for:

TLDR: Make sure you put Lucretia, Merlin and Grezhul on it. Afterwards, just pick heroes with good furniture effects that you plan to ascend soon.

After Lucretia, put in Alna as she will be your next gaze target - unless someone new comes out ;). After you get a hero to their recommended investment below, swap them out with another hero that is going to be useful that you will have access to relatively soon. There are a lot of good heroes and effects, and the way we decided to categorize them for simplicity’s sake is to put a hero into a bracket, depending on both the usage amount of the hero and the power increase due to the furniture effect. The format is as follows: Hero - Which effect you want - Explanation

Top Tier Furniture

This tier is reserved for heroes relevant to common meta teams, and are transformative for heroes, meaning that they are defining effects for the hero it is on.

  • Ainz Ooal Gown - 9f - He's a high investment but worth it. This timer is critical to both his function in PvE and PvP. You’ll almost never get this effect in a fight without it, and it enables his core utility as well. Also the stats from the furniture allows him as your carry to do more damage as usual. When you’re a couple months away from getting him permanent from garrison, start putting him in your list.

  • Albedo - 3f - If you have your Ainz up and ready close to his 9f, you want your Albedo to have her 3f. She becomes a better Brutus and on top of that, her Signature Item requires her to be alive or else it will disappear a few moments after her death. Her being immune allows both her buff and tankiness to remain on the field. When you’re a couple months away from getting Ainz permanent from garrison, start putting her in your list.

  • Alna - 9f - Her core utility is to give your frontline an immune effect. This lets your other frontline unit be immune as well. Very transformative and crucial to her usage.

  • Lucretia -9f - She’s another top tier carry. More stats from the furniture itself is relevant as well as her hindrance of enemy energy and ultimates with the furniture makes it fantastic. This furniture doesn’t fully enable her, she works plenty fine beforehand, but getting it all puts her up on another level, giving her this spot.

  • Skriath - 3f - If you have him Ascended, his 3f is needed for 5 pull compositions with Eironn, commonly paired with Tidus, Lucretia, and Thoran.

  • Grezhul - 9f - He’s fantastic in drawn out fights, constantly gaining damage and tankiness with his shields and summons as well as stealing stats. He is also critical to Twisted Realm compositions and the Graveborn Tower, and sees play in other game modes such as Abyssal Expedition.

  • Merlin - 9f - He ults instantly. Your team is happy. It’s really good, get it.

  • Izold - 3f - If you have him Ascended before chapter 35, he’s top tier. After that, he drops down considerably to mid or lower as he gets one shot by then.

High Tier Furniture

This is for furniture that is quite good for already good heroes, just making them better as a straight upgrade.

  • Daimon - 3f - Essentially a 40% damage boost. Always great to have.

  • Tasi - 3f/9f - Critical support hero and extremely flexible. This just makes her survivability just that much better. Can’t go wrong with her teleporting around all nimbly bimbly.

  • Thoran - 3f/9f - The star of his own cheese comp. I can’t say that the furniture enables him, but it makes it so that you have to invest less into his supports when you do run him, which just makes him better. A perfect fit for this category.

  • Ferael - 3f - One of the best CC heroes in the game, and this enables him to be your common pick as an anti-healer against those pesky Nemora, Talene, Ulmus, etc.

  • Oden - 3f/9f - He’s a great hero and likes all the investment he can get. Pretty simple.

  • Ezio - 3f/9f - This lets him pop off those chain executes much faster and get a significant startup boost. Makes it so you don’t miss Rowan from your Ainz sets anymore and more stats means a higher execute threshold for him. Also he ignores/breaks out of CC when executing so that’s really nice at 3f.

  • Arthur - 3f - Commonly used tank, and he gets his ult pretty quick. Lets your Ainz set be more durable and definitely a cheap investment worth considering.

  • Kren - 3f/9f - Just like Oden, he likes all the investment he can get. Both effects always help when you use him.

Mid Tier Furniture

This is furniture that doesn’t do too much for great heroes, but since you use them, it's a solid pick anyway, or it is good furniture for lesser used heroes.

  • Joker - 3f - More and more people are using him and learning about him. He’s really good for smart players, but this furniture requires you to use your brain to the max. One of the best cases is to put him opposite Nara to ignore her pull.

  • Raine - 3f - Basically amazing for any bossing in Guild Hunts or Abyssal Expedition. Free bonus damage if you use her.

  • Eironn - 3f - He used to be a top tier damage dealer, but has fallen off of that and is mainly used for his pull utility now. However if you don’t have Lucretia or Thoran 5 pull in use, then he does respectable damage with this in traditional 5 pull and other modes.

  • Lyca - 9f - She’s used basically everywhere, but in campaign not for damage. This essentially doubles her damage which is great for anything except campaign where she is often sacrificed or too squishy.

  • Pippa - 3f - You mainly use her for copying Tasi’s ultimate, and you get more benefits from it. On top of that she does good damage and her furniture lets her do much more at 9f, but that’s a luxury. If you’re out of good 3fs to do, I would suggest this as it’s all around solid.

  • Tidus - 3f - He becomes a lot stronger with this, but he’s less used in campaign in general.

  • Prince of Persia - 9f - Pretty squishy in campaign, but an extra life is an extra life. Great unit for stunning enemies.

  • Raku - 3f - It’s a fairly decent effect for a good hero. He does a lot of damage without it, and a bit more with it. Solid if you use him a lot.

Niche/Low Tier Furniture

This is some good furniture for less used heroes, or furniture that does seem good at first, but doesn’t get to shine often. In any case, it’s notable furniture that doesn’t shine as often as we would like it to.

  • Silas - 3f/9f - 9f is required for getting your ranged units to get the effect, but he has to ult and your other unit has to ult and all of this is just so you can get one buff on one unit that you don’t use that often. It’s a good effect, but doesn’t get to shine often.

  • Ezizh - 9f - It takes like a year to get him Ascended, and you get to pull one more unit. He’s really squishy and has to channel mind control. If he gets it off, it's really good for Thoran and cycle comps.

  • Twins - 3f - They’re squishy and not a priority to build any more, but 3f is low investment and they get a bit more survivability, which is reasonable enough to put down due to their use in non campaign modes.

  • Gwennyth - 3f - She does more damage and is your LB tower carry, so this makes this notable for her in that regard.

  • Skreg - 9f - High investment for a lesser used hero. That said, if you use invade sets, it’s amazing for that and Mauler tower as well.
