Hey Commanders,
it's your friend Fred Kendall again. Today I'm excited to tell you all about the upcoming Version 5.10. In this version, the long-awaited [Lite Mode] is finally making its return. We hope that it'll give those of you who've had performance issues a much smoother experience. In addition, we'll be adding [Autumn] events and the new [Percy's Showroom] event. We'll also be expanding Theater of Conquest gameplay with new features like the [Conquest Signup] phase.
I. New [Conquest Signup] Event
In Version 5.10, we've adjusted the overall flow of the Theater of Conquest. We've replaced the old Preselection system with a new Conquest Signup phase. The adjusted Conquest process is as follows:
1. Each Theater of Conquest is divided into 7 phases: the Warm-Up, Signup, Matchmaking, Matchmaking Announcement, Campaign, Tally, and Exit phases.
2. During the Warmup phase, you can view the rules, special features, and rewards of every Conquest Battlefield.
3. During the Signup phase, Leaders and Officers of eligible Alliances can select a Conquest to sign up for. During the Signup phase, members can still freely join or leave Alliances. However, if an Alliance does not meet the membership requirements for joining a Conquest by the start of the Matchmaking phase, it will be unable to join the Conquest.
4. During the Matchmaking phase, the Conquest you signed up for will be split into individual Battlefields. From highest to lowest, the Battlefield levels are Legendary, Gold, and Silver. The higher a Battlefield's level, the greater the rewards for taking part. The parameters for assigning Battlefield levels include, but are not limited to: overall Alliance Power, average Power of Alliance members, highest Power among Alliance members, active Alliance members, etc. After the Matchmaking phase begins, Alliances will be locked until the end of the Conquest, meaning members cannot join or leave the Alliance.
5. During the Matchmaking Announcement phase, you'll be able to view the details of the Battlefield you've been assigned to. Alliances that could not be matched with suitable adversaries will not be able to participate in the Conquest, but will have priority in matchmaking for the next Conquest.
6. During the Campaign phase, you can relocate your Base to the Conquest Battlefield to take part in the Conquest for the next 26 days.
7. During the Tally phase, the system will issue rewards for the Conquest, including but not limited to: Conquest mission rewards, Conquest ranking rewards, etc.
8. The Exit phase will last for 1 day. At the end of the Exit phase, all Commanders will be removed from the Conquest Battlefield.
II. New Officers
1. [Berserker Bear] Andrey Kurbsky, Artillery Officer. Skill Preview:
1) Saturation Fire (Tactical Skill): Prep Time: 8s. Artillery fire rains from the sky, dealing Dmg to an enemy Troop (Dmg Coefficient 600/750/900/1150/1500) and increasing the Blast Dmg of this Officer's Artillery by 10%/13%/16%/20%/25% for 8s.

2. [Mapletopia]: Take a tour through Mapletopia, earn rewards, and get the exclusive Maple Tree decoration.
3. [Autumn's Bounty]: Log in every day to claim new rewards.
V. Modern Unit Optimization
1. Optimized the Modern Units interface. When enhancing sections of a Modern Unit's Prototype, increases in Power and Power Grade should be easier to see.
2. You can now tap and hold the Enhance button to continuously enhance a Prototype.
3. Changed models/art for some 8-Star Unit Prototypes to be more historically accurate.
4. Added sound effects to Prototype enhancement.
VI. Modern Unit Part Conversion Optimization
1. Optimized the conversion of Legacy Unit Parts to Modern Unit Parts. If you don't have a Legacy Unit Part but have the required Materials/Blueprint to make that Part, you can now choose to "Make and Convert", which will make the Part and automatically convert it into a Modern Unit Part.
2. Optimized the relationship between Legacy and Modern Unit Parts:
1) Medium Engines for Medium Tanks and Tank Hunters previously could only be converted into Helicopter Engines. They can now also be converted into Main Battle Tank Engines.
2) Heavy Tank Suspension Parts previously converted into Main Battle Tank Engines. They are now converted into Main Battle Tank Armor.
VII. [Part Mechanic] System
1. The Part Mechanic system is aimed at strengthening Unit Parts. Increasing the Part Mechanic level of a Unit will increase the Firepower and HP bonuses provided by their equipped Parts.
2. The [Armorer's Wrench] items needed to upgrade your Part Mechanic level can be obtained through the following methods:
1) Purchasing Value Investments
2) The Arena Store
3) The Black Market
4) The VIP Store
5) The Conversion Store
6) Reaching 120 Activity by completing Daily Missions
7) Purchasing the Strong Arms, Strong Army and other Gifts
VIII. Event Reward Adjustment
1. Increased [Distract and Destroy] Rewards
a) You will now be able to claim additional [Point Rewards] from the Distract and Destroy event by earning enough event points. If your server has been online for at least 180 days, you will be able to earn Refined Components this way.
b) Armorer's Wrenches for the Part Mechanic system have also been added to the list of Point Rewards.
c) After the update goes online, the rewards of already-ongoing events will not be affected by these changes.
2. [Operation Spycatcher] Reward Adjustment
a) Refined Components have been added to the rewards for clearing Level 50 on the [Ace] and [Marshal] difficulties.
b) Refined Components can only be acquired on servers that have been online for at least 180 days.
c) If a server reaches 180 days old in the middle of the event, the event's rewards will not be changed until the next time the event starts.
d) After the update goes online, the rewards of already-ongoing events will not be affected by these changes.
IX. [Territory] Alliance Tech Adjustment
1. Adjusted the required Tech Points, time, and resources needed to research [Territory] Alliance Techs and the Skill Points required to activate Alliance Skills. Generally speaking, the Tech Tree should cost fewer resources to research and should have smoother overall progression.
2. Changed the description for Territory Techs to specify that they only apply "When fighting other Commanders within Alliance territory" (the actual effects of these Techs have not changed). Please note that you will not receive the bonuses of Territory Techs if the territory in question is still under construction or invalid.
X. Further Optimizations
1. Lite Mode has been re-added.
2. There are currently so many reinforcements on the map that they are getting in the way of players' Troops. As such, reinforcements will depart from your Base in small squads rather than as individual Units. Squad sizes are as follows:
Infantry: 16 Units; Light Tanks: 6 Units; Medium Tanks, Tank Hunters, Anti-Tank Guns, Howitzers, and Rocket Launchers: 4 Units; Heavy Tanks, Super Heavy Tanks below 8-Stars, Main Battle Tanks, and Helicopters: 2 Units; Super Heavy Tanks 8-Stars or above: 1 Unit.
3. Optimized overall UI presentation, lowered UI brightness, optimized commonly-used controls, and enhanced the Medals interface among others. These adjustments should be more legible, aesthetically pleasing, and visually consistent. In addition, we have adjusted the VIP, Mail, Building Upgrade, and other interfaces to improve usability.
4. When you acquire a permanent Base Skin you no longer have to "use" it first. You can now just directly equip it.
5. Added the [Ground Force Gold Blueprint Pick] item to the Ground Force Campaign Store.
6. Added the [Air Force Gold Blueprint Pick] item to the Air Force Campaign Store.
7. By researching the AA Firebase Tech in the City Defense Tech tree, your AA Firebases will automatically attack all Bombers currently attacking your Base.
8. Infantry will now automatically enter Bunker mode whenever they stop moving.
